Karakiosk
Sturdier sign-ups and easier-to-find language buttons
Version 0.1.19 · 2026-09-29
New singer sign-ups can no longer be broken by a wrong server address, the Mobile App QR code works out of the box, and the language buttons on the welcome screen are bigger and easier to spot.
New Features
- The Mobile App QR code on the welcome screen now points to the KaraMeet app download page right out of the box - hosts can still change it or hide it in Admin
Improvements
- Language buttons on the welcome screen are larger, brighter, and gently glow so singers notice them
- The KaraMeet server address in Admin is now locked behind a Change button, with a clear note that it is not the QR code link
- A new server address is checked before it is saved, so a wrong link cannot be saved by mistake
Bug Fixes
- New singer sign-ups could fail with an error if the KaraMeet server address in Admin had extra text after the web address
- The kiosk no longer tries to save a singer without an account ID when the server sends an unexpected reply
